Household Hazardous Materials Collection
Please call before dropping items off it. Drop-off available during normal business hours from April 1 through October 1 ONLY.
This service is for GRUNDY COUNTY residents only...
This is for household generated materials only. No business, school, church, or agricultural materials will be accepted.
We no longer accept WET water-based paint. Water-based paint can be dried and thrown in your household trash
Items that will be accepted:
Garage and Workshop Items (paints, paint thinner, paint remover, stain, wood finishes, glues, auto polishes, starting fluids, roofing tar, etc.)
Home and Garden Items (aerosol cans, fungicides, insecticides, weed killers, fertilizer, mothballs, pool chemicals, furniture polish, etc.)
Kitchen and Bathroom Items (drain cleaners, oven cleaners, floor care products, window cleaner, etc.)
All empty containers need to be disposed of in your trash.
